CIVIL WAR2
Introduction
Civil war refers to strife between the citizens and the leaders based on the issues f power
and the rule of law1. The normal citizens form revolution groups that rebel against government
regimes and cause the strife that results in the wars. States of anarchy are contributed to by the
civil wars since the citizens refuse to be governed and strike their anger on the government
creating a crisis. The United States has a history of civil war and it was attributed to by many
factors that reduced the competence of the government and causes challenges especially when it
came to the methods of governance. The following is a critical analysis of some of the pivotal
factors that led to the civil wars and contributed to the rift between the government and the
people whom it rules in the early years of the American history:

One of the major challenges was the difference between the slave states and the Free
states regarding the power of the government to entertain and establish new states2. The slaves in
the United States felt that they wanted some sort of recognition in the government and would
have been allowed to participate in the formation of the Free states. The act of slavery and

barring of the individuals from participation in the democracy process brought civil strife and
they wanted to be recognized in an organized framework whereby their grievances could be
heard diplomatically3. The best approach for the slaves to gain their dependence and participate
in the research was therefore through an organized platform whereby they could participate in
the events and form the Free states. The political control and economics of slavery led to the civil
war since it was against the fundamental principles of quality and effective living among the
people in the United States.
The civil war was also attributed to the unequal rights of sovereignty that were accorded
to the salve nations since they had no power to control themselves4. The United States would
have been a sovereign nation with one federal government but the challenge was the
undermining of the slaves and the Free states. The issue exacerbated the condition and caused
many issues that resulted in the civil wars. The civil war was majorly due to the unfairness and
challenges and poor quality governance that reduced the competence of the systems and caused
challenges on the common people. To regain respect and needed strategies in the control of
challenges, the United States focused on the fundamental strategies and needed interventions in
the control of adversities and elimination of challenges in a more effective way.

The United States had the largest number of slaves yet tie was moving so fast to an extent
that in the modern society, it should be considered as one of the largest slaveholding countries
although people are born with equal rights. Required approaches are recommended in the control
of the government poor governance and the citizens ganged up to cause the civil war and fight
for their rights. Since silence could have caused adverse situations and lack of problem solutions
to the grievances that they had, it would have been a difficult process to come up with the best
solution and other quality approaches in the reduction of the adversities5. A fundamental concept
would have been considered necessary for the establishment of effective government forms and
generally a required state of freedom. Between the years 1861-1865, the citizens decided to fight
for their right and get recognized by the ruling government so that fairness could be experienced
and the rule of law effective for all the individuals as required.
Territorial Expansion
Another significant cause of the civil war was the territorial expansion such that the
South had the idea of taking the slaves to the western territories while the North wanted the
slaves to be exposed to white labour6. The difference in ideologies resulted in civil strife that led
to the challenges experienced and issues that reduced the competence of the nation. Civil war
resulted in the opinions of the South and the North were different based on the conversion of the
